Battery Cell Insulation Tester Model 11210

Chroma 11210 battery cell insulation tester is an instrument used for accurately measuring leakage current (LC) and insulation resistance (IR) of battery jelly-roll/dry-cell as well as various insulation materials. In addition to standard LC/IR measurement, the 11210 has a unique function that detects partial discharge (PD) or flashover that may have occurred inside the insulation material during the high voltage insulation testing process. With PD detection of the battery's internal status before electrolyte filling, defective products can be filtered out before entering the next stage of production preventing the potential hazards that may occur in the field. In contrast to traditional methods of insulation test, Chroma 11210 provides an entirely new concept for inspection and evaluation of battery quality.

The Chroma 17011 Battery Cell Charge and Discharge Test System is a high precision system designed specifically for testing lithium-ion battery (LIB) cells, electrical double layer capacitors (EDLC), and lithiumion capacitors (LIC). It is suitable for product development, quality control, and is helpful to characteristic research, cycle life testing, product screening, and quality assessment.

The Chroma 17011 has linear circuit and regenerative AC/DC bi-directional models for different applications. The linear circuit test systems feature extremely low output noise and high measurement accuracy and are applicable for testing small and medium sized energy storage components. The regenerative bi-directional test systems with high efficiency, power saving, low heating, and stable measurement capabilities suit testing medium and large size energy storage components or power type battery cells and fit green energy low carbon emission production.

The 17000 series is a complete turn-key system, including carrier trays, robust battery probe contacts, high quality charge/discharge modules and intuitive software all under computer control.

Patented Battery Voltage Tracking (BVT) DC-DC conversion power modules minimize power consumption in battery charging, and Energy Recycle Modules (ERM) recycle the discharged energy directly back to the DC power system for increased power efficiency. These power saving designs provide a planet friendly solution along with cost savings by reducing energy consumption.

The intuitive software provides a flexible selection in the charge/ discharge channel, current rating, and modules under test.
